FEDC_PIC-2Casino Beef Week Promotions Committee Inc are very pleased to announce a new platinum / naming sponsor for 2012.

Forest Enterprises Development & Consultancy (FEDC) have agreed to become Beef Week naming sponsor for 2012 which will see Beef Week celebrate its 30th birthday.

Beef Week president Stuart George said he was very excited about FEDC becoming the naming sponsor of Beef Week.  “Its wonderful to have a locally owned and operated business become our naming sponsor especially next year where we will be celebrating Beef Week’s 30th Birthday” he said.

Due to the restructuring of the electricity industry, Essential Energy, who have been our naming sponsor for the last four years, have had to finish their naming sponsor status but they are still going to be a gold sponsor which is a wonderful result for Beef Week to have them still involved and to be part of the 30th birthday celebrations.

Mick Benton said “FEDC are proud to partner with Beef Week and support Casino community by contributing to Casino’s signature event.  As a local I am very proud to be associated with Beef Week as I know what it means to the businesses, community and the Northern Rivers as a whole”.

FEDC’s contribution will really help the Beef Week Committee to continue to provide a quality event and ensure next year as our 30th birthday is even more special than ever.

The dates for next year’s event are 19th to 29th May 2012.

Casino Beef Week now has Beef Week branded caps and stubbie holders for sale.

If you would like to show your support for Beef Week, whether you live near or far away, then you can  purchase one of these smart products.

The baseball-caps which feature the Beef Week logo as well as the website address will cost $10 each, and will suit guys and gals and with one size fits all they will fit the kids as well.

And if you enjoy a cold one, then get your hands around the stubbie holder which will cost $5.

The merchandise is available HERE on the website soon and can be purchased at the Beef Week office and selected retailers.

Beef Week president Stuart George said there has been numerous requests for Beef Week merchandise over the past couple of years by locals and visitors alike.

"People are often popping into the Beef Week office wanting to buy," he said.

"Just before christmas I got a phone call from a local lady whose son was going to America and wanted some Beef Week gear to take with him.

"Unfortunately we didn't have anything to offer her at the time.

"So we thought we would get a couple of items, see how successful they are, and if they prove popular get a few more things.

"It's a great way to promote Beef Week and generate another income stream.

"Proceeds from the sale of the merchandise will come directly back to run Beef Week.
