The Casino Beef Week Queen Competition Event Committee, invite the cattle industry and associations, to support this year’s festival by sponsoring and nominating a candidate for the 2008 event.

Casino Beef Week Queen, 2005 Casey Saunders, owner of hairdressing salon Heads, said the Casino Beef Week Queen competition is a great event for all involved.

"It's a great opportunity for participants to build community networks and gain skills in public speaking," she said.
 
“The Beef Week Queen competition provides great exposure for sponsors and their respective cattle breeds,” Miss Saunders said.
 
Event organisers say It is important for all sponsors to note that this event is not a beauty contest, but a traditional highlight of the festival and a great way to promote the beef industry.
 
Young women and cattle industry sponsors interested in being involved in the contest are encouraged to contact the Casino Beef Week Office.

Industry sponsors should also be aware that nominations have already been received from young women who are keen to be a part of the contest and are seeking sponsors for which they can represent their respective breed.
