The ball presents a great chance to get frocked up and masked and have fun to mark the opening of Beef Week. In keeping with the carnivale theme, the after dinner entertainment will be provided by one of Sydney's top swing bands, the all singing all dancing Enormous Horns. The opening night is being held at the Casino RSM Club on Thursday 28th May, at 6.30pm. A two course meal and a great night of entertainment by the Enormous Horns will be served up for $50.
The Enormous Horns play anything from rock, pop and soul to big band swing and rock ‘n roll, through to quiet dinner music before the party gets going, to fully costumed routines from the Village People, Blues Brothers, Rocky Horror and the Disco era. President of Casino Beef Week Stuart George said a slight change of format to the opening night was made at the request of the community. "This year’s opening night will also feature the announcement of the Casino Beef Week Queen," Stuart said. "We will now know who our queen is on the opening night.” Mr. George said tickets go on sale at the Casino RSM Club Friday May 1. "Make sure you get your tickets early as last year sold out very quickly.” Enquiries to: Salina Runge 6622 8157 or 0429 150 088, Beef Week Publicity and Promotions Officer
