 The Beef Week BiLo Celebration of Fashion is set to be a grand occasion. The Fashion Parade is always a very popular event on the Casino Beef Week calendar. This year Fay Knight Lifestyle Editor for the Northern Star and Miranda Saunders from Prime News will co compare the evening, adding to the pizzaz of the evening.
Margie George has been involved in organizing the Fashion Parade for many years and said support from local fashion stores is again strong. “I am exceptionally excited about the number of local businesses with top of the range fashion participating in this year’s event," she said. Margie will once again be assisted by Sally Kennedy in organizing the fashion parade. “The Parade this year will cover women’s, men’s and children’s fashion,” Sally said. "Stores involved in supporting the fashion parade are Arum Casino, Vogue Frock Salon, Shellbound, Fitzmacs, Casino Surf Centre, Summerland Independant Sports, George Gooley Mensland, Gear Up For Kids and Rockmans." Brands that will feature in this year’s parade are: Wish, Martini, George, R.M Williams, Jag, Wrangler, Gloster, City Club, Tarocash, Billabong, Quiksilver, Roxy, Element, Black Pepper, Yarra Trail, Mr K, Laura K, Soda, Bonds, Kaboosh, Baby Kaboosh, Adidas, Nike , Puma, Everlast, and that’s just to name a few.
